SUn Byrd
Coming out of Oslo’s vibrant scene, Sūn Byrd brings a fresh, sun‑soaked take on modern soul, deeply rooted in the sounds of the 60s and 70s. The seven‑piece band — Johan Helland on vocals, Audun Haave Reknes on keys, Bård Berg on drums, Markus Hafsund Gundersen on bass, Jørgen Kasbo on guitar, Lyder Røed on trumpet and Erlend Vangen Kongtorp on sax – writes, sings and shapes its own sound as a collective, not just a frontperson with a band behind.
Their 2024 self‑titled debut already crossed 100,000 streams with the single “Half the Truth,” and they’ve built a reputation across more than 200 shows in Oslo. With a warm, groove‑driven mix of classic soul and contemporary energy, Sūn Byrd is ready to step beyond Norway’s borders and bring that tight, live‑wire feel to a wider audience.
NINON
Ninon is a Luxembourg-born artist with French and Luxembourgish roots, shaping a sound that feels honest, personal and quietly bold. Drawing on her love for music, writing and performance, she blends singer-songwriter sensitivity with a fresh, expressive edge.
Since her first EP in 2020, she has continued to build her own path, always guided by authenticity, curiosity and a strong artistic voice.
MAYA
MAYA is a crossover jazz quintet from Luxembourg, led by vocalist and songwriter Chantal Kirsch. Blending jazz and neo‑soul, they build a sound that’s both smooth and sharp – warm grooves, poetic lyrics and a touch of irony wrapped in soft melancholy.
On their 2025 debut album Between the Lines, they explore inner conflict, identity and emotional honesty through spacious, groove‑driven arrangements. On stage, the band balances intimacy and momentum, improvisation and structure, pulling listeners into a live experience that feels like a slow, unfolding story.
ROGER B
Roger B is a groove‑loving digger with a knack for turning dancefloors into late‑night rituals. With a vinyl bag full of rare soul, funk, disco and a healthy sprinkling of Latin and Brazilian heat, he moves from hip‑hop and boogie to house without ever losing the funk or the feel.
Curator of the Grand Duchy Discothèque nights and host of The Groove Merchant radio show on Loose.fm, he’s spent years sharpening his taste for the dusty, the deep and the deeply satisfying. Expect a set built on warmth, swing and a serious love for the dancefloor.
the jazzy boys
The Jazzy Boys are a seven‑piece jazz band from Luxembourg, bursting with energy, rhythm and loud, joyful playing. Made up of two trumpets, a saxophone, a trombone, a vibraphone and two percussionists, they perform almost entirely original music, written by the band themselves, like the catchy “Jazz Lighter”.
They met as students at Lycée Michel‑Rodange, formed the band in 2025, and have been bringing their upbeat, heartfelt sound to concerts, festivals and private events ever since. When they play, they want you to feel the swing, the groove and the pure happiness of jazz, and to know that this is a band that’s just getting started.
